The Government of Sindh thanks Children Health & Education Foundation

As CHAEF is providing help towards many projects of the Government of Sindh whether it be Health, Education, Polio Campaign, Distribution of Food / Ration, Uniform to School Students, Sewing Machines to the poor women and other projects / programs like Milad -e- Mustafa (PBUH) Conference at different parts of Sindh / Karachi, a letter of thanks has been received from Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Sindh appreciating the sincere and valuable cooperation extended by Children Health & Education Foundation for their community and social welfare services. Computer Training Certificate Distribution Ceremony at Mrs. Shireen Gul Computer, Training Centre, Shah Faisal Colony on 20th April 2010. 131 students awared certificates

Dear Well wishers

Children Health & Education Foundation is operating three Computer Training, English Language and Vocational Training Centres at various locations all over Karachi apart from 38 Primary Health, Mother & Child Healthcare Centres at Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad.

A computer training certificate distribution ceremony was held at Mrs. Shireen Gul Computer, English Language and Vocational Training Centre, Shah Faisal Colony on 20^th April 2010. The function was among others attended by the sponsor of the Centre and his family members, Mr. Arif Irfanullah, Professor IBA, Chairman CHAEF, staff and students of the Centre.

Mr. Shuja Zaidi, Vice Present, Projects Hilton & Towers & General Manager, Makkah Hilton & Towers sponsor of Mrs. Shireen Gul Computer, English Language and Vocational Training Centre, Shah Faisal Colony represented by his sister Mrs. Nasreen Zeeshan congratulated the students for competition of computer training and distributed certificates to 131 students. She also distributed prizes to ten students for their excellent performance during the training.

Visit of Mr. Ateeq-ur-Rehman, Member Managing Committee and Chairman, Bank and Insurance Sub Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Mr. Ateeq-ur-Rehman, Member Managing Committee and Chairman, Bank and Insurance Sub Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry visited Primary Health, Mother & Child Healthcare, Computer Training and English Language Centre of Children Health & Education Foundation (CHAEF) at Qayyumabad on 29^th March 2010. Syed Naeemul Hassan, Chairman CHAEF apprised the honourable visitor of the services being provided at the Centre. He informed him that on average 200 patients visit the Centre daily for Consultation, Lab Test, Ultrasound and are provided FREE medicines. Besides, over 250 students are provided FREE Computer and English Language Training.

Mr. Ateeq-ur-Rehman thanked the Children Health & Education Foundation for providing FREE Health and Education facilities to the poor and needy and promised that he will try his utmost to provide fill financial assistance to CHAEF through CSR Sub Committee of KCCI of which he is the Chairman. He also said that from now onwards CHAEF will receive assistance as a partner of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
