During the recent rain, some water accumulated underneath the prefabricated structure, thereby damaging its bottom (floor), Besides, the total electric wiring, fans, lights, other equipment including circuit breakers have burnt due to very high voltage in the night as well.

We have once again renovated the Prefabricated Primary Health, Mother & Child Healthcare Centre.

Children Health & Education Foundation (CHAEF) have established a State of Art Healthcare Centre at Deh Chitara some 18 km from RCD Highway towards Hub Dam catering a scattered population of about 500,000 over a vast area where, old residents mostly labourers and fishermen live in hutments having no electricity, drinking water and medical / health facilities since last over 60 years.

The Centre has the following facilities:

2. Mother & Child Healthcare

4. Free distribution of Medicines
5. Water Hand Pump
6. A Mobile Medical Van with a Doctor and Lady Health Visitor providing medical support to more than 60 villages

CHAEF is operating 39 Health and Educational Centre all over Pakistan and has todate treated 7.5 million diseases of the poor and destitute.

Pictures of first Prefabricated Primary Mother and Child health Care (MCH) Center having facility of Ultrasound, Lab Tests and OT for Eye Surgeries has been inaguarated at Shireen Jinnah Colony, Karachi.

This center will provide free health care services to the people of the area.

We are planning to to setup similar pre-fabricated health care centers at the Junctions of Divisions, Districts and Tehsils or main roads connecting to the villages.

We are diagnosing, treating and medicating more than 8500 diseases daily of the patients visiting all our 35 established mobile healthcare centres where 135 health and education activates are conducted. The healthcare activities include free Consultations, Diagnostic Tests that include Ultrasound Facility Mother & Child Healthcare and quality Medications (to date in a short span of 5 years a total number of over 5.7 Million diseases of patients have been treated with Medications) The schools are laying special emphasis on Computer training and English Language Skills besides providing basic education to all the residents of these deprived areas mostly Katchi Abadis.
