We are pleased to inform that with the help of an International Bank. Children Health & Education Foundation (CHAEF) have established a State of Art Healthcare Centre at Deh Chitara some 18 km from RCD Highway towards Hub Dam catering a scattered population of about 500,000 over a vast area where, old residents mostly labourers and fishermen live in hutments having no electricity, drinking water and medical / health facilities since last over 60 years.

The Centre has the following facilities:

1. Primary Health Care
2. Mother & Child Healthcare
3. Ultrasound
4. Free distribution of Medicines
5. Water Hand Pump
6. A Mobile Medical Van with a Doctor and Lady Health Visitor providing medical support to more than 60 villages

CHAEF is operating 39 Health and Educational Centre all over Pakistan and has todate treated 7.5 million diseases of the poor and destitute.

We are extremely grateful  for her  kind visit to our Healthcare Centre and Computer Training Centre and English Language Centre in Qayyumabad, Karachi, outreach clinics at various Goths off RCD Highway in Balochistan and a Girls School at Sharafi Goth  at Korangi on 12^th May 2010 and very kindly inaugurated a Primary Health, Mother & Child Healthcare Clinic at Rahim Hasni Goth near Hub Chowki.

She had very kindly visited our Primary Health, Mother & Child Healthcare Centres at Gulberg and Johar Town in Lahore in last week of  April 2010.

We sincerely hope that after personally seeing our performance Barcly Bank  will sympathetically consider our request for financial assistance to help us in our efforts to provide healthcare and educational facilities to the poor and needy.

The story of the Children Health and Education Foundation (CHAEF) genuinely deserves to be highlighted as a consummate case study of all that is pure, compassionate and selfless. Education and health care are the basic needs of the hour for everyone, especially the underprivileged of our society. Only the unfortunate sufferers can really feel the trauma, sense of hopelessness and the anguish when they do not have ready access to these basic rights.

It gives EBM great pleasure to be associated with CHAEF since its formation by sponsoring a Primary School for boys and girls in Chishti Nagar, Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. This school was later upgraded and the same premises are now being used as a Primary Health, Mother & Child Healthcare and Computer Training center as well.

It is a matter of great satisfaction that CHAEF has over the years rendered commendable services in the field of education and healthcare. The services by this remarkable institution are beyond praise and worldly accolades. Surely their entire team, present and past, have earned the best of God’s graces for themselves through their exemplary devotion and total commitment.

I take this opportunity to salute a great institution and thank it for giving us an opportunity also to be of service to it in our own humble way. Our fervent best wishes go out to the CHAEF for all its future plans and goals.
